Things worth writing in about

• A price, opening time or route that has changed. This is the most useful message we get. Austrian attractions revise admission at the turn of the year and Wiener Linien adjusts fares periodically, so guides drift. If you paid €30 where we said €27, or found the Sisi Museum closed on a day we implied it was open, tell us which page and what you actually encountered.
• Something that is factually wrong. A misattributed Klimt, a tram line that does not run where we said, a district boundary drawn in the wrong place. Corrections get made and dated.
• A gap in the coverage. If you looked for something about Vienna and could not find it here, that is worth knowing.
• Press, media and republication enquiries. Including permission to quote or reproduce material.

Things we cannot help with

We do not sell or resell anything, so we cannot help with a booking you made elsewhere. If you need to change a Staatsoper ticket, a Schönbrunn timed entry, a hotel reservation or a rail booking, that has to go to the operator or the platform you booked through — we have no access to any of it.

We also do not build personal itineraries on request, and we do not accept paid placements, sponsored posts, link insertions or “collaborations” in guides. Messages offering these are deleted unread, so please save yourself the effort.

Official Vienna information

If you need something authoritative rather than editorial, the Vienna Tourist Board (WienTourismus) runs a visitor information point at Albertinaplatz, on the corner of Maysedergasse in the 1st district, and publishes the city’s official visitor site. Wiener Linien handles all questions about U-Bahn, tram and bus tickets, and ÖBB handles Austrian rail. We are not connected to any of them and cannot answer on their behalf.
